EU funding for investments of the transport sector

The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is a key EU funding instrument to promote growth, jobs and competitiveness through targeted infrastructure investment at European level. It supports the development of high performing, sustainable and efficiently interconnected trans-European networks in the fields of transport, energy and digital services.

The 2019 CEF Transport call for proposals was published on 5 December 2018. The call makes EUR 100 million of funding available for the transport sector. The projects should be located on the TEN-T comprehensive network and focus on removing bottlenecks and bridging missing links. The deadline for submission of applications is 24 April 2019.

Wega provides professional expert services for companies in the transport sector applying for EU co-funding. We help with the project planning and finding the right partners. We write the text of the application – you just need to provide us the essential information. We also know how to justify the need for co-funding. We compile all the needed material and documentation and take care of the entire application bureaucracy. You get to concentrate on your core business without having to learn the tricks of yet another electronic submission system.

Our services include top-quality cost-benefit analyses (CBA) for investment projects required by the CEF instrument. CBA is a systematic process for calculating and comparing the costs and benefits of a project to appraise an investment decision and determine the welfare change attributable to it. We assess the financial and economic case of your project and provide you with a full report of the analysis.

Wega is an acknowledged expert in EU funding. With our top of the line expertise, we enable our clients to gain environmental sustainability through actualised investments. In the past five years, we have secured well above EUR 100 million of co-funding to investment projects within sustainable transport, emission reduction and renewable energy.
