The European Commission awarded a total of €2.8 billion in funding through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) transport call on July 2, 2025. Wega secured over EUR 100 million grant funding for its clients’ transport infrastructure projects. These EU-funded projects contribute to the achievement of the Union’s climate goals and the development of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).

In this round of funding, the CEF Transport instrument supported 94 projects across Europe. The selected projects were chosen from among 258 applications.
